Schedule

The project is on schedule to be completed in mid-2021.  Upcoming milestones include:

Dec. 1, 2020 – All major construction activities on the north side of the facility along San Carlos will be complete, including permanently placing in service three of the six new sewage pump systems. This will greatly enhance the overall station reliability. Upon completion of this milestone, all hatches and openings over the wet wells will be installed and closed.

Dec. 1, 2020 thru April 30, 2021 – All major construction activities on the south side of the facility and inside the main pump station building will be completed, including placing the remaining three new main sewage pump systems on line and replacing all electrical gear and installing new standby power generators.

May 1 thru June 30, 2021 – All exterior architectural enhancements, painting, landscaping and asphalt paving will be complete, and the contractor will demobilize from the project.

Holiday Work Schedule

Construction crews will not be working on the following days during the Thanksgiving and winter holidays:

  • Nov. 26 and 27, 2020
  • Dec. 24 and 25, 2020
  • Jan. 1, 2021
The leak in the Manhattan Avenue/San Carlos intersection is not part of this project.

The southbound lane of S. Manhattan Avenue will be closed from W. San Carlos Street to Henderson Boulevard from Mon., Dec. 7 through Fri., Dec. 18, 2020.  Click for details.
